Authentag is a provider of SaaS-based supply chain integrity solutions to government and commercial customers.

In its purest form, our proprietary solutions uses unique alpha-numeric strings (QR codes, RFID, etc) that can be permanently locked to specific smartphones, thus allowing: (1) organizations to prove ownership, track fakes, contact end-users directly, or facilitate more efficient recalls and (2) end-users to verify product authenticity in real-time via the Authentag mobile app.

By applying tech knowledge from big data analytics and electronic trading and combining it with physical product authentication, Authentag can group, manage, analyze and carry data for super large sets of physical items, all of which can be independently and uniquely tagged. Authentag enables geo-location & geo-fencing, identity management, and a variety of other vital control mechanisms that ensure supply chain integrity.

There are plenty of additional nuances to our product offering, but in short, we are shifting the industrys emphasis away from overly sophisticated, expensive physical tagging techniques -- all of which are still vulnerable -- towards a framework where physical tags are made more simple and combined with complex back-end data management and security.
